Qualifications:
A satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent, (5%) of the total bid for work shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds.

Experience Questionnaire (included in bid documents) required to be completed by each Bidder and submitted with bid.

Special Requirements:
All contractors and subcontractors working for the City of Liberty, MO shall enroll in and actively participate in a federal work authorization program (FWAP). After January 1, 2009 no contract may be awarded by the City of Liberty, MO to any contractor for work on any public works facility who has not enrolled in the FWAP.

OSHA Training Requirements:
In addition to the immigration requirements the Missouri law imposes new OSHA training requirements. These requirement are for both immigrant and non-immigrant employees. All employees are required to complete the course within sixty days of beginning work on the public works project. Any employee who has not completed the course within that time frame may be removed from the project.

Miscellaneous:
The City of Liberty, Missouri reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Liberty, Missouri for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
